Gillette's Castle

Designed and Built in 1919 by William Hooker Gillette, a well known actor (the original Sherlock Holmes).  Located on a 184 acre estate, this midieval castle overlooks the Connecticut River.  The park is open year round.  The castle is open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily from May 25th through Oct. 14th.
