In 1969 The US
Department of Defense created the Network called "Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET)" to
connect research scientists so they could exchange ideas and research
information. The network would included College researchers. This
network continued to expand and now servers as a massive super
information highway now called "The Internet".
