Heredia ("The City of Flowers"): Heredia is located northwest of San José on the edge of Barva Volcano, this city was founded in 1706. Home of National Autonomous University, with coffeeshops and bookstores nearby. A old Colonial church is located the Central Park.

Braulio Carrillo National Park: Located in the southeastern section of Heredia Province and extends into north western Limon Province. 

Puerto Viejo De Sarapiqui Village:  A San Juan River port Located in a transitional zone between the Caribbean and the Northern Plains, the Sarapiqui area offers easy access through the Caribbean region. It is about 1 1/2 hours from San Jose.

Cafe Britt: Coffee direct from the plantation.  Café Britt Costa Rica is located in Heredia, Costa Rica approximately 40 minutes northwest of San José, Costa Rica’s capital. We have a roasting plant and an organic farm on-site as well as a theater, café and factory outlet store open to the public. Choose either Costa Rica or Peru.
