Clarified Butter
To Clarify butter
Heat butter in a pan on medium heat. Skim off any light colored frothy foam that rises to the top. Gradually increase the heat and continue skimming. Once your butter is hot, clear, and free of milk product. You have made clarified butter. *IMPORTANT TIP: Be sure
to clarify butter in a large pot with high sides as Butter (when heated)
has the tendency to boil over and could result in a nasty kitchen fire.
